1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to the Emerald City Card Show ("ECCS" or the "Organizer"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the ECCS website (https://emeraldcitycs.com) and your participation in any Emerald City Card Show events.

By accessing or using our website, purchasing a ticket, registering as a vendor, or attending an ECCS event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or attend our events.

Modification of Terms: We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time by posting revised terms on our website. It is your responsibility to review this page periodically for changes.

2. Scope of Applicability

These Terms apply to all users and participants, including:

  • Event Attendees and Guests: Individuals attending the Emerald City Card Show in any capacity.
  • Vendors/Exhibitors: Individuals or entities renting tables or booth space to sell or display merchandise.
  • Website Users: Anyone accessing or using the ECCS website or online services.

3. Attendee Code of Conduct

ECCS is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for collectors of all ages. Attendees must adhere to the following:

  • Respectful Behavior: Harassment, discrimination, verbal abuse, or physical aggression toward vendors, staff, or attendees will not be tolerated. Any incident of abusive behavior may result in immediate removal without refund.
  • Compliance with Laws: Attendees must abide by all applicable local, state, and federal laws, as well as venue rules. Failure to comply may result in ejection.
  • No Disruption: Do not engage in behavior that interferes with others' enjoyment, including excessive noise or blocking aisles.
  • Minors: Attendees under 18 should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents/guardians are responsible for the conduct of minors in their care.

4. Vendor Policies and Responsibilities

By registering for a table or space, vendors agree to these policies:

  • Proper Registration: Vendor spaces are assigned by ECCS and may not be transferred or sublet without written consent.
  • Compliance with Laws & Taxes: Vendors are solely responsible for obtaining business licenses and collecting/remitting sales tax.
  • Merchandise Standards: Counterfeit, stolen, or unlicensed products are strictly prohibited. Items depicting explicit nudity or hate speech are not allowed.
  • Financial Responsibility: The Organizer does not provide insurance for vendor inventory. Vendors are responsible for securing their own property and carrying appropriate insurance.
  • Indemnification: Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless ECCS from claims arising out of the vendor's participation, products, or negligence.

5. Prohibited Items and Activities

For the safety of all participants, the following are strictly prohibited:

  • Weapons: No firearms, knives, explosives, or other weapons are allowed, even if legally owned.
  • Illegal Substances: Illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia are forbidden.
  • Theft and Fraud: Any act of theft or fraud will result in immediate removal and possible legal action. ECCS does not warranty product authenticity.
  • Unauthorized Vending: Only registered vendors may sell or advertise products. "Bootlegging" or soliciting is prohibited.

6. Ticketing and Registration Policy

  • All Sales Final: Tickets and vendor fees are non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for cancellations or no-shows unless required by law.
  • Transfers: Tickets and vendor registrations are generally non-transferable without approval.
  • Removal: If you are removed from the event for violating these Terms, you will not receive a refund.

7. Assumption of Risk

By entering the event, you acknowledge that there are inherent risks in attending a public event. You agree that you attend and participate AT YOUR OWN RISK. This includes risks of personal injury, property damage, or illness.

Property Risk: You are responsible for securing your own property. The Organizer assumes no responsibility for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

8. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Emerald City Card Show shall not be liable for any losses or damages arising out of your attendance. This includes no liability for direct, indirect, or consequential damages.

No Insurance Provided: ECCS does not provide insurance for attendees or vendors. You must carry your own coverage.

9. Photography and Media Release

By attending, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or recorded by ECCS and its partners. You grant the Organizer the right to use your likeness in future promotional materials without compensation.

10. Event Changes and Force Majeure

The Organizer reserves the right to modify the schedule, venue, or programming. No refunds will be issued for minor schedule changes. In the event of a cancellation due to Force Majeure (e.g., natural disaster, pandemic), refunds are not guaranteed but may be offered at the Organizer's discretion.
